We can design a trip just for you
Beyond

Custom Trips . . .

We can build a trip just for you!

We often create custom adventures for groups of friends, organizations and special interest groups.

We are especially adept at getting groups off the beaten track, into an exotic land of small villages, rural artisans, friendly people and spectacular places.

And we take you there with the right guides, carefully chosen individuals who open the door to this land. Yes, they can spew facts about this and that, but more importantly they can make it possible for you to wade into the middle of a village fiesta and feel welcome, or settle you into a rural house for a simple meal under the shade of an anona tree and good conversation with your hosts about creating pots from the hillside clay and growing corn under the seasonal rains.

We can create itineraries around your special interest, whether it’s cuisine, hiking, ethnobotany, pottery, textiles, folkart, coffee cultivation, festivals, etc, etc. Calling on our years of experience, we know who to see, where to go and when to be there.

Typically we like to work with small groups (4-16 people), and our trips usually range from 6-14 days.

To begin creating a custom itinerary we ask for a $100 deposit (applied toward the trip price) and begin a conversation with you about the details. Who will be traveling, what do you want to see, how many days, what kind of hotels, etc.

Over the years, we have organized custom trips for clients such as Sierra Club, Crow Canyon, Lisa Lindblad Travel Designs, Native Seeds Search, focused researchers, groups of friends, families, etc.

To begin the process, give us a holler at traditionsmexico@yahoo.com.

Many thanks,

Eric
